🏃‍♀️🥧 THE RESULTS ARE IN! 🥧🏃‍♀️
OVER $70,000 raised!

What a morning at the Timber Ridge Foundation Run with the Pack! The Walton High School Band - Marietta, GA kicked things off with carline tunes and our Pack came together, laced up, and ran (and giggled, and sprinted, and definitely walked some) for a cause that matters.

And the grand finale? Our very own Dr. Lankford and Mrs. Wise took a pie to the face — served up by two of our fantastic first graders!! 🥧😂

The best part: together, we raised over $70,0000 for the Timber Ridge Foundation!

Huge thanks to every kid who ran, every family who fundraised, and every volunteer who made this day happen. 💛

🥧 PLOT TWIST OF THE WEEK🥧

Two brave (foolish?) parents bet against the 1st graders, confidently predicting they WOULDN'T be the first grade level to hit their fundraising goal — and one of them should've known better, since they're a teacher here at our school! 😅

Reader, the 1st graders hit their goal. 🎯

A deal's a deal — so today those two parents stood in front of the whole 1st grade and took a pie to the face, courtesy of their own kids. The looks of pure joy on those little faces? Priceless. 😂🥧

Never underestimate a 1st grader with a fundraising goal in sight — not even the staff saw it coming! Congrats to our amazing students, families, and teachers who made this happen! 👏

📣 Count those pennies and bring them (or click the link below!) in by tomorrow (remember, any donation counts to student participation!) … we are less than $1,000 away from our BIG GOAL OF $60K. Check out all of the grade level standings - upper grades can almost taste that Aloha Ice 🍧🧊.

For Run with the Pack tomorrow, all students will receive a headband, some grades are wearing grade level shirts (look out for communication from your teacher!) and come ready to RUN 🏃‍♂️ 🏃‍♀️💨
