They’ve arrived. 💪👷♂️ After extensive travel, 60 Minnesota cooperative lineworkers are on the ground in Virginia on a mutual aid mission, ready to help restore power during Winter Storm Fern. A brutal mix of snow and freezing rain is hitting much of the country. Helping those in need is what cooperatives do. Stay Safe!

Electric cooperative employees are always ready to help when a community is in need.
Sixty Minnesota cooperative lineworkers from more than a dozen co-ops across the state are heading to Virginia to assist Rappahannock Electric Cooperative with power restoration efforts.
This is the sixth cooperative principle in action: cooperation among cooperatives. There is no better example than mutual aid, when lineworkers step up to help fellow co-ops and the communities they serve.
Please join us in wishing these crews safe travels as they work to restore power, and a sincere thank-you to all lineworkers braving brutally cold temperatures here at home to keep the lights on.
