Sabine Program for At Risk Kids

SPARK was so excited to be part of The Living Word Church Mother’s Day Rose Outreach. All of our SPARK moms recieved a Mother’s Day rose from these guys! What a special treat this was. Thank you so much for honoring our moms. We appreciate your support so much.

Thank you so much Many Police Department for the delicious cookies. SPARK staff is grateful for this department showing appreciation to our teachers. We are so thankful for the support from all of Many PD, Chief Wooley, and our SRO Officer Bliss.

SPARK uses BASE as our social emotional curriculum. This program helps students reflect on their feelings as well as develop competencies in self-awareness, relationship skills, social awareness, and responsible decision making. Each year, we have monthly focus topics that the students are responsible for completing. At the end of April, we wrapped up our modules for the spring semester. Each student who completed each module for this semester was rewarded with their favorite drink and snack as well as being entered into a drawing for a grand prize of some of their favorite things. We appreciate the hard work these students have put in as they balance their academics while also making time for social emotional learning. We also would like to send a huge shout out to Ms. Ricki. She deligently counsles our student’s and encourages them to engage in social emotional learning. This semester’s winner IS………

Day 3: Batter Up!
We are so grateful for Sabine Southern Nutrition for providing today’s Teacher Appreciation. They delivered the most delicious waffles for breakfast! Such a well deserved treat today. Thank you Sabine Southern for always supporting us at SPARK. We are very thankful for our SPARK ladies. They are the most dedicated and loving group!

A huge thank you to Living Word Church who gracioulsy made today better by providing these drinks. We are very thankful for you all and your appreciation for these ladies. Thank you to the real heroes of SPARK. They always lift us up.

Next week, May 4-8th, we will celebrate Teacher Appreciation Week. SPARK is beyond thankful for our teachers/paras and Ms. Ricki who always lift us up! We are super excited for next week. We sincerely appreciate everything they do.

National Bus Driver Appreciation Day. We are so grateful for our bus drivers at SPARK. They are such an essential part of our program. All of these ladies are “Sweet as Honey” and we appreciate them more than they know. We loved celebrating them with a small token of our appreciation. Thank you so much for all you do for our students!

Happy Secretary’s Day to the one who holds us all together. Miss Mackayla is the most dedicated and hardest worker. She has a heart of pure gold and loves SPARK with her whole heart. We are beyond blessed to share every work day with her. Thank you so much for the countless things you do for everyone of us. We sure adore you and the positivity you bring to our lives!
