This is a handsome Standardbred gelding, Fox Valley Runaway, born 1-28-2002. 15.2 hands. Needs a tune up but was ridden to check cattle and fencelines in a previous life. He's up to date on shots, worming, feet are easy to trim. He's a gentleman looking for a new home. Low # # #, transport offered for gas fee.

Say hello to Giselle, our newest resident, rescued from a kill pen in Arkansas. She is a sweet 20ish year old palomino who loves to eat and will soon be up to a good weight. She's just gone out with the other mares and just strolls around with them, no bluster, no antagonism, just cruising and happy to be out with a lot of food.

My very talented and amazing niece, Iliahi Neizmen Easley, lives just across the border in Mississippi. She and her husband Craig have All Creatures Veterinary Hospital in Port Gibson. They live there with two smart and vivacious kids, Alohi, 7 and Koa, 5. Iliahi and the kids do a lot of riding and manage a herd of cows and calves as well as all the work that goes with being a vet. They visited last year and took Deacon, a super handsome Missouri Fox Trotter, and Chica, a petite and well trained palomino, home with them.

Just another hurrah for my little Jack Russell Terrier, Corky who turned 18 on April 1st. He's still going strong, and is especially motivated by swats from any cat he runs in to, literally! He doesn't see so well, and I try to tell the cats, but do they listen? Nope, they just say, "that's a dog", "we don't care if he's Methuselah, he touches us, he gets a swat!" With 9 cats inside to contend with and a new arrival outside, he has to keep his nose tuned,

I've been lucky enough to enjoy a young female fox that lives on and around the property. The horses don't seem to bother her at all, she wanders around in the pasture with them looking for tidbits to eat. Have a look at the pictures and tell me what you think about her species. Hi all! Tis another gorgeous and somewhat hot day in beautiful Louisiana. I have another wonderful horse to mention, she's a riding wonder! Her name is Cherry and she is! She'll take you thither and yon and all with a go to attitude. She's a 21 year old gem I drove to Virginia to pick her up from a wonderful woman there. She has Cushings, but does well on her meds.
