Legacy Driver Development

Another CKNA national is finally here and we have a crowd of familiar but new faces joining the team this weekend! I can’t be more excited to work with some new drivers as well as welcome my VLR teammate, Nick, for assisting with data this weekend. I think it’s safe to say we’re all pumped for the weekend!

Route 66 Round 3 Done and Dusted!

Good weekend overall for all of our drivers who all had great speed and the potential to podium, if not win. A lot of progress and learning for everyone and the last round will bring a weekend full of championship battles and action at our home track!

Route Round 3 starts today! We’re all pumped and ready to go after a good practice day yesterday!

CKNA North came to LDD's home a few weeks ago and what a success it was for our drivers! Daniel Draganov swept the weekend in his VLR dominating the field. On Saturday Evan Liesch joined the crowd and won his final before making his way down to Badger Club the next day, pleasure to have him with us even if just for a day! Lily made a return to karting after some time knocking off the rust. Blake did a fantastic job transitioning from cadet to sportsman taking the win on Sunday. Cale and Jack raced up front all weekend and the LDD VLRs were the clear fastest throughout the weekend.

Route 66 Sprint Series round 2 @ Norway Motorsports Park recap! I felt as if it was a great weekend for everyone with LDD. Forrest Thomas Racing FTR worked through the struggles of mechanical failures all weekend and salvaged a P8. Blake Learman Racing cut seconds of time off and even snagged a podium in micro swift at a brand new track in his first regional race. Cale Zimmermann and Jack Fieber put it 1-2 on the senior medium field. Gavin Dyer honestly should’ve won or got close to it but had his hopes destroyed by another driver with only a few laps to go. Overall though what a job by everyone, a lot was learned this weekend no matter what level of driver we have here and that’s always the goal! CKNA @ Road America this weekend!

As we get into Round 2 of Route this weekend, let’s take a look back to Newcastle. Zeke Haight led LDD with a win, dominating 206 Junior. Everyone had solid results and we are ready to carry forward the momentum to Round 2. Let’s go!!
