Manitowoc sues company over Mirro site cleanup The City of Manitowoc is suing Newell Brands, successor to the historic Mirro Company, to recover nearly $6 million spent on cleaning and redeveloping their former site.

HUGE NEWS: Thanks to Captain Mark Kelly’s intervention and leadership, Annie Ramos, the newlywed wife of U.S. Army Staff Sergeant Matthew Blank, has been RELEASED from ICE custody.
ICE had previously taken Ramos from the Louisiana army base where the couple planned to live, and where Blank had been training for deployment. After hearing about this, Senator Kelly contacted the Department of Homeland Security, speaking directly with Secretary Markwayne Mullin to push for Ramos’s release.
The next day, Ramos was in her husband’s arms in a warm embrace.
