How does a small amount of liquid turn into a solid block of rigid polyurethane foam?

It all comes down to chemistry. A reaction creates millions of tiny CO₂ bubbles, causing the foam to rapidly expand and take shape.

On this hotel expansion project, an engineering design firm called for chemical grouting due to identified loose soils beneath the existing hotel’s footings that needed to be stabilized before excavation could be completed.

Using HMI Soil Link Acrylate Grout, the sheet pile contractor stabilized the loose granular soils and kept the project on schedule. Better yet, instead of subcontracting the grouting, they kept more of the project revenue by performing the service themselves.
