Happy Rodfathers Day from the captains! Beautiful day to be on the water. Hope you all enjoy your day with your father's if you have the chance.

Trying something a little different today. I've never ice fished for these before. Won't be my last time.

Decided to make a batch of smoked salmon since it is too cold to do anything else outside today. Not many people do it the old traditional way with a wood fire these days but it is our preferred method.

Got together and ran around the woods today with some family. No deer today but we might try again tomorrow.

Quite late posting this but after passing on several small bucks waiting for the big guy, Wyatt decided he would rather eat venison than his bow tag and got this cute little 3 pointer. He's happy, I'm happy for him and the freezer is setup for another year for us. We do put a little effort into finding older bucks with a bigger set of horns, but venison is our ultimate goal. Sometimes it works out, sometimes it doesn't. Kind of like fishing. Hope everyone has been having an enjoyable and bountiful hunting season this year!

Captain was able to get a decent little 8 pointer this evening. Any success stories from any of our friends out there?

Got the whole Rodfathers family out for the final trip of the year on a beautiful day. We had a very slow start but ended up getting into a few nice fish to put in our own freezers and put the seal on the 2025 season.
