Did you know that incourage has you take a survey with them when you take shelter there? They ask you about drug abuse, prostitution, and jail time. They ask you to lie and exaggerate your case, claiming they can get you into housing quicker. It's a scam, they won't get you into housing, but the survey will get them more government funding. This isn't to say they don't house addicts and pr******tes who abuse their children, they do, but those that aren't are either incentivized to lie or they are quickly kicked out.
Don't support incourage, don't support exploitation.
This is where will send you if you don't tick all their boxes for government funding. (Claim to be a drug addict, pr******te, and/or in and out of jail for violence on their intake census)
They'll allow you a short stay and if you don't have a place after, if you're struggling with debt, divorce/custody, childcare etc; you can't get a place within their miniscule timeframe- they'll let you and your children die.
