This boy loves all things about Asian culture from tv shows to food to art. So naturally, when I found this sushi fabric, I knew it was a MUST for Jay’s wardrobe! ;)

Today is giving me all the fall feels. It’s 62 degrees outside, I’ve got apple bread in the oven, and I have some fabric thats fit for the season! There is enough here to make a couple dresses depending on sizes.

A busy day, but a special day. July 4th has always been a special holiday in our house. We put on our best red, white, and blue, we walk in the parade, Tyler reads the Declaration of Independence, and we always catch the fireworks show.

But July 4th means a lot more to us now as it’s the day when Jay officially moved into our home! We have seen a year of growth and a year of change with tears shed in both sadness and joy. This boy has seen more of the world than most, and despite that, he never gives up. We never quite knew what our life would look like when we started this journey, but as a year has gone by, our lives have been made all the better by his smiling face.

Don’t worry, although there’s only two outfits, my oldest very politely informed me he is not need of a new outfit made by me for the holiday… 😭

JUST KIDDING… there’s no way I would successfully keep up with that. However, these munchkins always keep me working on new skills and new opportunities with every make turning out better than the last. It’s always a joy watching their excitement over what we make together. 🥰
