Australia may be a few thousand miles away… but apparently I still have to follow instructions.
WRITE DESIGNER.
So, reporting from NYC:
Occupation? Interior Designer.
Founder, Principal, Consultant, Educator… those are the hats.
Designer is the profession.
Proud to support the Design Institute of Australia’s campaign as a DIA Professional Member from this side of the world.
Because designers need to be seen, counted — and occasionally reminded what to write on a form.
Make Design Count.
Looking forward to speaking at Design Show Australia in Sydney as part of the Design Talks program.
My session, “Global Design Trends 2025–2026: How Environments Shape Participation, Belonging, and Practice,” will explore how design shapes accessibility, wellbeing, hospitality, and inclusive participation.
