🍩 National Doughnut Day

We have a confession.

At Isokinetix, we don't believe healthy living requires perfection.

In fact, one of the biggest myths in fitness is the idea that one indulgence somehow ruins everything.

It doesn't.

A doughnut doesn't create poor health.

Just like a workout doesn't create lifelong fitness.

What matters is what happens most of the time.

That's why we've spent the week featuring Leon.

22+ years at Isokinetix.

83 years young this July.

And one of the best examples we know of what consistency looks like.

The secret isn't perfection.

The secret is showing up often enough that occasional treats don't matter very much.

Move.

Nourish.

Repeat.

That's how lifestyles are built.

And speaking of important business...

After a week-long campaign, we need your help.

Has Leon officially earned the title:

🏆 Face of ISO 2026?

Vote below. 👇😄

Most people think successful health journeys are built on motivation.

They're not.

They're built on consistency.

The people who stay active, strong, and independent for decades aren't usually the people who do everything perfectly.

They're the people who keep coming back.

One workout.

One walk.

One healthy meal.

One good decision at a time.

That's why we love this week's featured member.

Leon turns 83 in July and has been training with us for over 22 years.

Not because he was perfect.

Because he was consistent.

As we continue our Rust Is Optional series, remember:

You don't need a perfect day.

You need another day.

Keep moving.

Keep nourishing.

Keep showing up.

And don't forget...

Tomorrow is National Doughnut Day.

And Cindy may or may not be bringing treats. 🍩😉

🚗 Rust Is Optional: Week 2 — NOURISH

Summer often gets a bad reputation when it comes to healthy eating.

Cookouts.
Vacations.
Desserts.
Celebrations.

But summer can also be one of the easiest times of year to nourish yourself well.

Fresh fruits.
Fresh vegetables.
Grilled proteins.
Meals shared with family and friends.

Healthy eating doesn't have to mean eating perfectly.
It means creating habits you can actually sustain.

This week we're continuing to practice our NOURISH habit while keeping our MOVE habit going strong.

And speaking of consistency...
Today's featured image comes from what historians now refer to as "Leon's Turkey Hat Era."

The photo was taken at least 13 year ago.

The amazing part?
Leon still looks pretty much the same. (Gina does too, btw!)

Proof that consistency works.
(Question for the group: What is your favorite Leon memory?)

🚗 Rust Is Optional: Week 2 — NOURISH

Low Fuel. Low Performance.

Most of us wouldn't wait until our gas tank is empty before filling it up.

Yet many people spend their day running low on one of the simplest performance boosters available:

💧 Water.

Sometimes what feels like:
• Low energy
• Afternoon fatigue
• Brain fog
• Increased hunger

May simply be dehydration.

This week's NOURISH challenge is simple:

✅ Drink a glass of water before coffee.

OR

✅ Drink a glass of water before lunch.

Small habits.
Repeated consistently.

That's how lifestyles are built.

Speaking of consistency...

Meet Leon.

He's been training with us for over 22 years and turns 83 this July.

This week he has apparently declared himself the new Face of ISO. 😉

We're still waiting for Wally's official response.

In the meantime, Leon is demonstrating today's hydration habit while reminding us that consistency—not perfection—is what keeps the vehicle running strong.

After all...

Rust may be optional.

But water isn't. 💧

If you own a vehicle, you already understand maintenance.

Oil changes.

Tire rotations.

Regular tune-ups.

The goal isn't just keeping the vehicle running today.

It's helping it perform well for years to come.

The same idea applies to our bodies.

One of the biggest challenges adults face as they age is maintaining muscle.

And muscle matters.

It helps support:
✔ Strength
✔ Balance
✔ Mobility
✔ Independence
✔ Everyday activities

That's why we spend so much time helping adults build and maintain strength safely.

Movement matters.

Nutrition matters.

And protein plays an important role in supporting both.

Because the goal isn't simply to add years to life.

It's to add life to those years.

05/31/2026

Imagine putting low-quality fuel into a beautiful classic car.

It might still run.

But it won't perform at its best.

Your body works much the same way.

Last week at Isokinetix, we focused on movement.

This week we're focusing on nourishment.

Not diets.
Not restriction.
Not perfection.

Just better fuel.

Because strength, energy, recovery, mobility, and longevity all depend on what happens between workouts.

One healthy meal won't change your life.

One workout won't either.

But the habits you repeat consistently can.

As we continue our "Rust Is Optional" summer series, we're encouraging our members to choose one simple nutrition habit and practice it daily.

Small habits.
Repeated often.
Powerful results.

What is ONE nutrition habit you'd like to improve this summer?

Rust is optional. 🚗❤️

Think about a vehicle.

The ones that tend to stay reliable for the long road usually aren’t maintained through occasional extremes.

They last because of consistency.

Regular movement.
Regular maintenance.
Regular care.

The human body works the same way.

Most people don’t need punishing workouts.
They need:
• movement
• strength
• mobility
• consistency
• and habits they can actually sustain

That’s exactly what we’ve been focusing on during our first week of “100 Days to 60.”

Because small habits really do matter.

A short walk matters.
Mobility work matters.
Strength training matters.
30 intentional minutes matters.

And over time?
Those small habits protect freedom, energy, and independence.

If you’ve been thinking about getting started, our simple summer option may be the perfect fit:

4 guided 30-minute sessions/week
for $99/month
with a 3-month commitment.

Low-impact.
Coach-guided.
Strength + mobility focused.
Designed for adults who want to keep the engine running well for the long road ahead.

The goal isn’t just exercise. It’s LIFE. 🚗❤️

Think about a vehicle.

Most people don’t maintain their car because they enjoy maintenance.

They do it because they want:
reliability,
freedom,
adventures,
and the ability to keep going.

The body works the same way.

Movement isn’t just about workouts.
It’s about staying strong enough to enjoy life.

To travel.
To play with grandchildren.
To move confidently.
To garden.
To carry groceries easily.
To stay active and independent for the long road ahead.

That’s why our “100 Days to 60” focus this week is MOVE.

Because small consistent habits create long-term freedom.

And honestly?
Sometimes all it takes to start rebuilding momentum is a little structure and consistency.

That’s why we’re offering:
4 guided 30-minute sessions/week
for $99/month
with a 3-month commitment.

Low-impact.
Strength + mobility focused.
Coach-guided.
Designed for adults who want sustainable progress — not extremes.

Movement is maintenance. 🚗

Think about a vehicle:
If it sits too long…
things stiffen.
Systems weaken.
Rust builds.

The human body responds the same way.

And most people don’t need extreme workouts to start feeling better.

They need:
consistent movement,
better routines,
and habits they can actually sustain.

That’s exactly why our “100 Days to 60” focus this week is MOVE.

Because small consistent habits often create bigger long-term changes than occasional bursts of motivation ever will.

A short walk matters.
Mobility work matters.
Strength training matters.
Even 30 intentional minutes matters.

That’s why we’ve created a simple summer option designed to feel manageable and realistic:

4 guided 30-minute sessions/week
for $99/month
(3-month commitment)

Low-impact.
Coach-guided.
Strength + mobility focused.
Designed for adults who want to move and feel better for the long game.

Most people think change happens through giant bursts of motivation.

But honestly?
Real change usually happens much more quietly.

Through small habits repeated consistently over time.

A short walk.
A mobility session.
A better breakfast.
A little more movement.
A little less sitting.
A little more intention.

During our “100 Days to 60” journey, we’ve been talking a lot about identity.

Not:
“What do I want to accomplish?”

But:
“Who do I want to become?”

Because every small habit becomes a vote for the future version of ourselves.

This week’s focus is MOVE.

And one of the best things about movement is:
you don’t have to do everything perfectly for it to matter.

You just have to keep the engine running.

If you’ve been wanting a simple way to rebuild momentum this summer, our next Build Muscle Burn Fat session begins June 1st.

Coach-guided.
Low-impact.
Strength + mobility focused.
Built for adults who want sustainable progress — not extremes.

Special summer commitment:
$300 if you commit by May 29.
