🎤🕺 Waddell students brought the King of Pop to life! From iconic moves to legendary style, our school was filled with Michael Jackson look-alikes ready to rock the day. 🌟✨

Our preschoolers became little herb explorers today! 🌿 We learned that rosemary, chives, and dill can grow in gardens and be used in foods we eat. The children used their senses to smell, touch, and taste each herb with cream cheese, discovering the unique flavors and scents of each one. What a fun way to learn about plants and healthy foods!

🌱🎨 Our Turtle Room Art Show & Gardening Family Event was a wonderful celebration of creativity and growth! The children proudly shared their artist-inspired masterpieces with their families and enjoyed planting together. They explored the works of Yayoi Kusama, Keith Haring, Claude Monet, Tyree Guyton, and Takashi Murakami. We are so proud of their hard work, creativity, and enthusiasm! 💚✨

Our preschool gardeners went outside to pull weeds and get the garden ready for planting. They worked together and had so much fun helping the garden grow! 🌼🪴💚

Owl Room explored the amazing sense of taste! 🦉Our little learners became taste testers and tried:
🧂 Salty — Potato Chips
🥭 Sweet — Mango
🍊 Sour — Grapefruit
🍋 Bitter — Lemon
🌶️ Spicy — Salsa

There were lots of smiles, silly faces, and brave bites as they discovered how different foods taste! 😋✨

Buckley students released the butterflies they raised with care, curiosity, and patience. A beautiful reminder that small beginnings can lead to amazing transformations. 💛

Our students at Waddell prepared arepas, a South American delicacy, in collaboration with their Roots and Cultural Program.🌎✨ They got hands-on creating their own fillings with beans, sweet potatoes, and cheese. To finish, they added fresh toppings like lime, radish, onions, and extra cheese. A fun and flavorful way to learn, connect, and celebrate culture together!
