Just hauled this 1 owner 1977 scirocco out of garage in Ct where it has been sitting since 1987. 84k miles. The car is complete & ready to be on the road again. Down side is the poorly done aftermarket paint job but what can you do. Just happy and lucky to have the opportunity to acquire it.

Just finished up this Auto to Manual swap on a nice low mile Cabrio for & .gibson75

This car was towed in because it would barely run & kept throwing a hard fault for the fuel rail pressure sensor. Turns out another shop had just installed a used engine and all the problems happened at the same time. The other shop decided to use RTV and electrical tape to put back together a broken engine electrical connector. It would have worked except they plugged it in upside down. Hours of time wasted because they didn’t fix the connector while it was apart.

Here is a 1988 16v Scirocco I purchased on 05/05/24. It had been sitting in a storage unit in upstate NY with no engine and suspension for 22 years. It then sat in my shop for another year getting a new life. It got a 2.0 lower end freshened up with all new gaskets, bearings, & seals, new clutch & lightened flywheel, Techtonics Tuning cams, exhaust, & motor mounts. Poly suspension bushings, Tech53 brakes lines, rebuilt power steering rack, new ball joints, new tie rods, new shift linkage, replacement Bilsteins and H&R springs, new bearings, new brakes, new rims & tires, new gas tank, new fuel pumps, some Eurosportacc goodies, and more. It got its new engine started Saturday at 3:00pm and got driven 2 hours to New England Dust Off the following morning without any issues.

Golf R coil over & clutch install. Usually I would pull the bevel box before removing the transmission but the previous person over tightened the center bolt in the bevel box and I couldn’t get off without opening up a can of worms.
