BrightStart Play Academy is our weekly program with fun play & learning activities for children with a parent circle, where parents can relax and enjoy conversation around a variety of topics. BrightStart for Families is for families with young children (pre-natal through age 4). The adult component is designed to enhance the skills of parents and other care-givers by encouraging an optimal home environment to improve their baby's success in life. BrightStart emphasizes how parents can stimulate brain development. Parents and caregivers are the single most important part of an infant's world. Parents with knowledge and skills can equip their young children to enter school ready to learn and thrive. There are several key elements to the workshop. We will discuss creating a home with opportunities for a child to grow with good nutrition, a sense of security and safety, ready to learn and develop his or her full potential. An important part of BrightStart is to equip parents as reading partners with their children.
BrightStart and the Play Academy will be open this Saturday.

Self-control takes time to grow. Toddlers have big feelings, but the parts of their brain that help manage emotions, behavior and impulses are still developing.
“Putting on the brakes” can be especially hard. They may know they shouldn’t grab your phone or hit when they’re frustrated, but knowing the rule and stopping themselves are two different things.

Successful Week 2 of Bright Start. We are so happy have you on our parents group , while kids played and had great time learning and having fun. We will see you next week October 3 - 10am-11:30am at 20 Hartford rd, Manchester.

BrightStart for Families and the Play Academy will be open on Saturday September 26 unless the storm causes a power outage. Will let you know if we need to cancel. Hope to see you tomorrow for some indoor play and fun.
