Meet Zoey ❤️ — From Heartbreak to Hope
Zoey’s story is one of unimaginable heartbreak, incredible resilience, and a second chance she never should have had to wait so long for.
Zoey was once a family pet, loved and cared for by her owner. But tragically, her owner passed away inside their home while Zoey was still in her crate. Unbeknownst to anyone, Zoey remained there for weeks, waiting for someone to find her.
During those long weeks, Zoey had no access to food or water and was forced to live in her own waste. The conditions caused painful burns and severe skin irritation. She was suffering, scared, and completely alone.
Eventually, neighbors discovered what had happened, and Zoey was rescued and brought to Animal Care and Control in Florida.
That was five months ago.
For five months, Zoey has been on a journey of healing with an amazing foster who gave her the one thing she needed most: love. With patience, kindness, and a safe place to finally heal, Zoey slowly began to put her past behind her.
And what a transformation it has been. ❤️
The little girl who arrived frightened and covered in painful burns is gone.
Today, Zoey is healthy, happy, affectionate, and full of love. Her body has healed, but perhaps even more beautifully, her heart has healed too.
Zoey has made her way all the way to New Hampshire, and now she is hoping for the final chapter of her journey: a forever home.
She knows what it feels like to be completely alone. She knows what it feels like to be forgotten. But she also knows what it feels like to be loved, and she is ready to give that love right back.
Zoey doesn’t need anyone to feel sorry for her. She needs someone to see her for who she is today—a beautiful, loving girl who survived the unthinkable and still found a way to trust, love, and hope.
Her past may have been heartbreaking, but it doesn't have to be her future.
Zoey has waited long enough. Now she’s waiting for someone to choose her. 🐾❤️
Could you be the person who finally gives Zoey the safe, loving forever home she has always deserved?

🐾 Meet Luna! 🌙💕
Luna is a beautiful 5-year-old girl who has been patiently waiting for her chance to finally know what it feels like to have a home of her very own. 🥺❤️
This sweet girl has the perfect mix of playful and relaxed. She loves going for walks, playing with toys, exploring alongside her people, and of course, soaking up plenty of cuddle time! 🥰🐾
Luna walks well on leash, does well with other dogs, and absolutely loves being included in whatever her people are doing. She’s the kind of girl who just wants to be by your side and feel like she belongs.
After waiting so long, Luna isn’t asking for much—just a cozy place to rest, a loving family, and someone who will choose her forever. 🏡💕
Could you be the family Luna has been waiting for? 🌙🐶❤️

Tia has a little confession to make… 👀🐾
Apparently, plastic crate trays make pretty good chew toys. 😂
Tia has demonstrated one of the many reasons we’re ready to upgrade our current isolation-room setup! This month’s 50/50 will help us work toward durable solid-wall kennels and improved flooring that are easier to clean, easier to maintain, and provide our dogs with more privacy.
And don't worry, Tia — we'll try to make the new setup a little less snackable. 😉💙
🎟️ 50% helps fund the upgrade. 50% goes to one lucky winner!
