So happy to announce that Sweetie went to her furever family yesterday! That being said, we’ve received quite a few messages like these asking “What will happen to Rose if no one takes her?” It’s time we tell you the truth…. 🥺 Slide to see what’s happened to Rose….

The truth is… she is now crate training, still getting lots of love, running around our yard, playing with her mama, taking baths… and just being a 12 week old puppy!

The truth may shock you!! 🤣 Powderhill was started over 48 years ago by my mom. Yes, it’s still a business. No, I will never sell my last pick to a pet shop, kick her to the curb, or let her go to someone who thinks a 12 week old puppy is super cute but doesn’t have the desire or ability to actually CARE for a puppy that will become a dog!

That being said, IF the right family comes along, we will place her! If not/until then, she’s just stuck with us! 🐾💕

Exciting news!!! Scottie May was bred today to an outside stud for a litter of golden retrievers! This pedigree is FANTASTIC! We will ultrasound to confirm pregnancy in about 30 days. If pregnant, she will deliver around November 16th and puppies will go home around January 11, 2027. We are accepting deposits on this litter, but we do already have a few deposits. Inquire for details!
