Est. 2013, The Excellent Drivers are a 5-piece, DMV-based, pop/rock party band covering your favorite top 40 hits from the 80s, 90s, 00s, and today!
The Excellent Drivers are a 4-piece band featuring guitar, bass, keyboards, and drums, and have been rocking out together for more than 7 years. The band is fronted by lead vocalist and keyboardist Kelly Snow, who appeared in the 2012 film Pitch Perfect and on NBC's hit TV show The Office. Lead guitarist Bob Rossman is a veteran shredder who can play anything you put in front of him, including some of the most iconic guitar riffs in music history. Bassist Dave Farzan keeps the bass line pumping throughout the night with intensity you can feel in your bones. Featured on drums is Sam "Highlight" Bertness, serving as the stellar rhythmic foundation of the group. The Excellent Drivers draw from an extensive repertoire of 150+ songs, playing everything from Blink-182 and The Killers to Amy Winehouse and Marvin Gaye, and anything and everything in between. And if a client wants to hear that "special song" at their event, the band is more than happy to learn it. Committed to putting on a show you'll never forget, The Excellent Drivers pride themselves on their musicality, synergy, and utmost professionalism. The band works with their clients closely as the event approaches to tailor their setlist, personalize their production, and ensure they meet every need and the highest expectations. Past performances include playing for the Washington Redskins at FedEx Field and celebrity chef Jose Andres at MGM National Harbor Resort and Casino. A great choice for any event, book The Excellent Drivers today - you won't regret it!
We missed by a few days, but as we’ve been gearing up for our Summer shows we took a trip down memory lane to October 2013 and our first “show” in an oddly lit basement. Fast forward 11 years and the band’s still going strong. Some have more hair, some have less, but we’re still rocking classic tunes, enjoying playing music together, and sharing it with all of our backseat drivers. Here’s to another decade of music making! Catch us back at NOVA LIVE on Friday, June 5! Should be a great time! 🤘🛞🤘
Hey backseat drivers! We are looking forward to The Excellent Drivers at NOVA Live (2 Silos) tomorrow night 🤗! Unfortunately, Michelle Jentzer Melsop is under the weather this week and will not be able to join us ☹️. Be sure to send good vibes her way so she feels better soon! We look forward to seeing everyone tomorrow—we hit the stage at 6:30
