Our Cereal Box Challenge was a huge success! Our school collected 445 boxes of cereal to donate and then had fun with a domino course! https://canva.link/te3igzyvku3181p Thanks to Renee Duggan for the organization of this great activity.
What a wonderful evening at our PTO Family Fun Night!
Sometimes the best memories come from the simplest moments—students laughing and playing together, families connecting, and our school community enjoying time with one another. No big vendors, no extravagant attractions—just good old-fashioned fun, conversation, and togetherness.
Thank you to our amazing PTO for creating a night that reminded us what school community is all about. Seeing our students build friendships outside the classroom and our families share smiles and laughter made the evening truly special.
These are the moments that make our school feel like home. ❤️

Facilitating lesson study is a powerful reminder that growth doesn’t happen in isolation—it happens in collaboration. Watching educators come together to plan, observe, reflect, and refine their practice is where real transformation begins.
As a facilitator, I’ve seen how intentional dialogue and shared inquiry turn everyday lessons into opportunities for deep learning—for both students and teachers. The impact goes far beyond a single classroom; it builds a culture of continuous improvement.
This is the power of lesson study: collective expertise in action.

Mother, Daughter Teachers Build Mentorship Across Grades at Bennett Elementary School | Prince William County Public Schools At Bennett Elementary School, mentorship is more than a program—it’s a shared experience between a mother and daughter who teach just steps apart, bringing their students together to learn, grow, and support one another.
