As we continue our May theme, Bloom Into the Leader Your Dream Requires, we are focusing this week on the power of environment and support systems.
Since it is International Coaching Week, this is the perfect time to reflect on the “soil” we are planted in and the support we need to keep growing.
Sometimes, growth is not about working harder. Sometimes, it is about having the right support, the right questions, the right accountability, and the right space to think clearly.
Why Coaching Can Support Your Growth
A coach does not do the growing for you. Instead, coaching helps create the conditions where growth can happen with greater clarity, intention, and accountability.
This week, take a moment to audit your support system:
Do I have space to reflect and process high-level decisions?
Who is asking me the thoughtful questions that lead to breakthroughs?
What kind of coaching, mentorship, or accountability would help me bloom in this specific season?
Remember:
The right environment shapes your growth.
The right support strengthens your leadership.
The right questions can unlock your next level.
Wisdom Question:
What support do you need around you right now so you can bloom into the leader your dream requires?

Is your current environment helping your dreams grow, or is it quietly keeping them stuck?
This week on the Empowerment Minutes Podcast, we continue our blooming theme with Bloom in the Right Environment: What Your Next Season Needs to Grow.
So many people want their dreams to grow. They want peace, clarity, stronger leadership, and a new season, but they overlook the role environment plays in supporting what is trying to bloom. Dreams do not grow in just any environment. They need the right conditions.
In this episode, we discuss John Maxwell’s Law of the Environment, which states that growth thrives in conducive surroundings. We explore why your environment matters, how it shapes your energy, your thinking, and your habits, and how to make one intentional shift to help create the kind of soil your dreams need in this next season.

Happy Mission Monday, dreamers and leaders!
Yesterday was Mother’s Day, and I am still celebrating the mothers, mother figures, mentors, caregivers, and women who nurture dreams in others while carrying dreams of their own.
As a mom with dreams, I am reminded that dreams need the right environment to blossom.
As we continue our May theme, Bloom Into the Leader Your Dream Requires, we have to talk about the soil.
When a flower does not bloom, we do not blame the flower. We examine the environment in which it is growing.
The same is true for our leadership, our dreams, and our next level.
Your environment is made of more than your physical space. It includes:
The voices: Who are you listening to?
The habits: What are you practicing daily?
The thoughts: What inner dialogue are you repeating?
The systems: Do you have the right support and tools in place?
The boundaries: What are you protecting your energy from?
This week, your mission is to:
✅ Identify: Pinpoint one element in your environment that needs to shift this week so you can lead with greater clarity, courage, and purpose.
✅ Nourish: Surround yourself with people, resources, mentors, literature, and networks that support your growth.
✅ W**d: Remove, release, or reposition anything that is crowding out your growth.
Reflection Question:
What do you need to w**d from your environment so you can bloom into the leader your dream requires?

Earlier this week, we announced the graduation of our Emerging Leaders Spring 2026 Cohort, and we are still radiating pride for these incredible leaders!
Over the past several months, these leaders brought commitment, courage, and intentionality to every aspect of the program. They did not just learn leadership concepts; they practiced, reflected, applied new tools in real time, and took meaningful steps toward their next level of leadership.
At EMK Learning Solutions’ Leadership Academy, we believe learning is not “one and done.” Leadership development must be reinforced, practiced, and sustained over time.
That is why our proven Framework is designed to equip leaders for long-term success beyond the cohort experience.
To our graduates: you did it.
The cohort sessions may be over, but your leadership journey is still unfolding. You decide daily how you show up for yourself, your team, and your organization. Choose wisely. Keep leading forward.
To the senior leaders who invested in their teams: thank you. You have taken an intentional step toward building your leadership pipeline and strengthening succession planning. Keep investing in yourself, your leaders, your teams, and the future of your organizations.

Today, we celebrate the incredible journey and accomplishments of our Emerging Leaders Spring 2026 Cohort .
Over the last 12 weeks, these leaders moved from learning leadership concepts to applying them in real time. They did not just study leadership; they practiced it through self-reflection, intentional growth, meaningful discussions, and practical application.
From strengthening self-awareness and communication to building confidence, practicing resilience, managing up, and preparing for their next level of leadership, they have created a foundation that will continue to serve them, their teams, and their organizations.
Here are voices from the Cohort:
“I used to think leadership required a title. Now I know it’s about influence, ownership, and how I show up every day.”
“The DISC assessment gave me the language to understand my communication style and, more importantly, how to adapt it to better support others.”
“I’ve gained the confidence to manage up and communicate with clarity as I prepare for the next level of my career.”
“I learned that a growth mindset is about staying open and learning through setbacks, even when things get challenging.”
To all the grads, we are incredibly proud of your dedication, your engagement, and your willingness to invest in your own growth. You stretched your thinking, challenged yourselves, and took meaningful steps toward becoming the kind of purpose-driven leaders others can trust, follow, and grow alongside.
To the senior leaders, organizations who invested in their leaders, thank you for trusting us to build your leadership pipeline. Your investment in leadership development is an investment in stronger teams, healthier cultures, and a more resilient leadership pipeline.
This graduation is not a finish line. It is the launchpad for their next level of leadership.
Congratulations again to the Spring Emerging Leaders Cohort graduates! Keep growing, keep applying, and keep leading forward.

Its another mission Monday. Is your leadership blooming at home?
Mother’s Day is just around the corner. While it is a time to celebrate, it is also a powerful reminder that some of the most significant leadership happens every day — often in quiet, consistent, and deeply meaningful ways.
Mothers lead at home.
They lead through vision.
They lead through nurture.
They lead through example, encouragement, and the culture they create within their families.
Just as a mother nurtures a child, we must nurture the visions we have been given. The way you show up for your vision — even in the small, unseen moments — helps determine whether that dream will eventually bloom.
As we approach Mother’s Day, I invite you to reflect:
What do the mothers in your life teach you about staying committed to a vision?
How are you nurturing and leading the seeds of the dreams in your own life?
Because dreams do not grow without leadership. And often, some of the strongest leadership lessons begin right at the kitchen table.
I invite you to:
✅ Reflect: What does Mother’s Day remind you about your own leadership style?
✅ Honor: Celebrate the mothers and mother figures who lead with vision, strength, and love.
✅ Act: Take one small step today to lead your dream with the same consistency a mother leads her home.
Happy New Month!
Is your family blooming, or just busy?
Blooming is about more than flowers. It is about growth, alignment, and becoming rooted enough to blossom. But just like a garden, blooming does not happen overnight. It takes intention, nurturing, and the right foundation.
The same is true for our friends and families.
So often, we are busy moving in different directions. Everyone may be growing individually, but not always blooming together because there is no shared vision and purpose.
That is why I created the Dream Big Ecosystem — to help close that gap. It is a comprehensive suite of resources designed to support every member of the family:
The Bestsellers: Dream Big and Live Your Dreams Boldly
Available in English and Spanish
The Workbooks:
Targeted editions for adults and kids to turn reflection into action
The Strategy:
Specialized assessments and digital plans to build self-awareness, clarity, and alignment
And more exciting news?
A major new addition will be joining the ecosystem at the end of this month. 👀✨
We are nearly at the halfway point of the year. Let this be your sign to take your dreams off the shelf, reconnect as a family, and start building forward together.
The Move for May:
✅ Clarify: Define the vision and purpose you want your family to live by.
✅ Connect: Use the full ecosystem — books, workbooks, and assessments — to create a shared compass.
✅ Invest: Get your tools today and stay tuned for the new release coming in a few weeks.
As Global Youth Initiative Month comes to a close, here’s the question I’m sitting with:
How are we empowering the young dreamers in our lives?
Our youth need more than encouragement. They need tools, conversations, examples, and safe spaces to dream boldly, build confidence, make decisions, set goals, and believe their future is possible.
That is why the Dream Big and Live Your Dreams Boldly ecosystem was created.
Whether you are a parent, educator, mentor, youth leader, or caring adult, this is an opportunity to do more than tell a child to dream big.
It is an invitation to dream together.
Empower your kid.
Dream together.
Build confidence, purpose, and life skills early.
The Dream Big Ecosystem includes:
📘 Dream Big and Live Your Dreams Boldly — the main book for inspiration, reflection, and bold action.
📗 The Dream Big Workbook — a guided companion to help you reflect, plan, and move your dreams forward.
📙 Dream Big and Live Your Dreams Boldly Workbook for Kids — a youth-friendly workbook that helps children build focus, planning, decision-making, confidence, social and emotional learning and self-awareness.
As we wrap up Global Youth Initiative Month, ask yourself:
How am I helping the young people in my life dream, grow, and thrive?
✅ Grab the book and workbook for yourself.
✅ Gift the kids workbook to a young dreamer.
✅ Use them together to start meaningful conversations about dreams, purpose, confidence, and action.
✅ Tag a parent, educator, mentor, or youth leader who believes in empowering the next generation.
Its about time we empower the young dreamers in our lives.
