🚨 SCAM ALERT — CARNIVAL CRUISERS, PLEASE READ! 🚨
If you log into your Carnival Cruise Manager to make a purchase or check in and suddenly get a pop-up saying **“Invalid Credentials”** and telling you to call a number to keep your booking from being cancelled — **DO NOT CALL THE NUMBER!**
I recently saw a scam exactly like this. The number was actually a **WhatsApp number**, and the person answering pretended to be Carnival. They claimed they needed to verify the booking and then said there was a $14.95 charge that had to be paid or the reservation would be cancelled.
When they claimed the first card was invalid, they immediately asked for **another card number.** 🚩🚩🚩
**The $14.95 was likely just a reason to get card information. Saying invalid was probably a way to get more than one card number. They were fishing for much more than $14.95.**
❤️ HERE'S THE GOOD NEWS:
**If you booked your Carnival cruise through a Travel Advisor, you have an extra layer of protection! A scammer can’t simply cancel a cruise unless they have the agents credentials.**
If you ever receive a suspicious message, pop-up, phone call, or request involving your cruise, **contact your Travel Advisor directly.**
If someone claiming to be Carnival calls you, simply tell them:
**“I booked through a Travel Advisor. I will contact my Travel Advisor directly.”**
Then hang up.
Never give the caller your Travel Advisor's name or additional information.
**Scammers are VERY convincing.** Don't let them pressure you into making a quick decision.
