What do these eyes say to you? 🥺

10 of their fellow working dog friends died in Kuwait waiting to come to the U.S.

12 remain in Kuwait, but 2 made it out…

From Kristen, Mission K9 Rescue co-founder:

“CWDs Frodo and Czarna made it here from Kuwait. These pics are from the drive from D.C. to Houston. It was a long drive for all, 26 hours, and getting pics and videos was next to impossible because they were nervous and busy. We will get more next week.”

We are $2,000 away from our rehabilitation goal for these pups. Who can step up and donate to help us get there?

Those eyes tell us, “Thank you for saving me.” 🥺

They spent their entire lives (both 11 years) working in Kuwait and this is the first moment they’ve experienced freedom. They are extremely nervous and will need time before they’re up for adoption.

Who can donate? We need your help.

This is our why.

The tears. The tail wags.

The years they waited for this moment.

Two heroes. Two reunions.

One unbreakable bond.
This is what your support makes possible.

Help us bring more of them home, where they belong.

Please donate so we can reunite more handlers with their retired military working dogs.

$20/month helps make this possible.

Right now, we have nearly 50 dogs in our care.

For every home we find, we can say yes to another dog who may otherwise face euthanasia.

for $15 per month, as a monthly donor, you can help us say ‘YES’ to the next one.

The life of a working dog… is a hard one.

They are trained to be ON.

So after years of service, whether with the military overseas or locally, when one of their handlers can’t adopt them for various reasons, where do they go?

💭 That’s a great question… nowhere.

Hence why Mission K9 Rescue was created.

With 50 retirees in our care, we do everything we can to provide a place of respite until they find the perfect forever home.

If this resonates with you, we ask for one of three things:

1. Donate
2. Apply to adopt
3. Share this post to spread our mission

🐾 Who can commit to $15/month?

A recent Mission K9 Rescue adopter:

“It’s been about 7 weeks since we adopted CWD Tiger, and we feel so lucky to have been given the honor of giving him a wonderful retirement. ❤️

He is the sweetest, most social guy, and his goal in life seems to be petting all the humans— I think I’ve met more people in the past 7 weeks than I have in the 6 years I’ve lived here. 🤣

He absolutely loves everyone, including the littles, and he is so gentle and patient with them. He really is such a sweet soul, and we feel incredibly lucky to call him ours.🥰

My only complaint is that he is absolutely obsessed with my husband. I guess that just means I’ll have to come back to adopt my own dog. 🤣”

These stories are ONLY possible with your donations.

Thank you for caring— please donate $20 and support more adoptions like this. 🥺

In honor of CWD Berman being ADOPTED… 🥹❤️

Who will be one of the people who gives $15/month to help us finish raising the remaining $2,500 for our rehabilitation fund?

Two of the 14 Kuwait dogs have already landed in DC. And remember, 10 dogs died while waiting.

These dogs have already been through so much. Now that they’re finally safe, our job is to give them the care, rehabilitation, and time they need to heal.

We set a goal of $5,000 for rehabilitation, but trust us… those costs will add up VERY quickly and will likely exceed that within the first few weeks.

CWD Berman got his second chance. ❤️

Will you help us give the next dog theirs?

Just $15/month can make a difference. And if enough of us say YES, we can keep saying YES to these dogs.

$15/month. One small commitment. A second chance at a life they deserve.

SERVED IN KUWAIT | ALMOST ONE YEAR WAITING

Two retired working dogs. Two incredibly special souls. Almost one full year at Mission K9 Rescue.

And with 14 more retired working dogs preparing to come from Kuwait, we are desperately hoping these two can finally be HOME before they arrive.

CWD Tigris

9 years old | Male | Dog-friendly

Tigris is an energetic, adventurous boy who loves being outside, exploring, playing fetch and making new friends. He is playful, curious and full of life, but just as happy soaking up love and attention from his people.

After nearly a year of waiting, Tigris still has no home.

CWD Kimi

9 years old | Female | Human-friendly

Kimi may be small, but she has the energy of a rocket and the confidence of a queen. She loves fetch, adventures, investigating everything around her and, most of all, her people. She would do best as the only animal in her home.

Kimi has been waiting nearly a year, too.

These two served. They waited. And now they are still waiting for someone to choose them.

Please, don't let them spend another year waiting.

Could you be the person who finally brings Tigris or Kimi home?

And if you can't adopt, please share. Their person could be one share away.

🐾 Apply to adopt here: https://bit.ly/MissionK9Adoptions 🐾

If you can't open your home, please consider donating. We are $3,500 away from our $5,000 goal to help 14 others rehabilitate once they land: https://bit.ly/KuwaitDogs

Can't donate? Please share this post in hopes it reaches their forever homes. 🥹

**Two of the Kuwaiti dogs landed and cleared Customs in DC a few days ago**

Kristen, Mission K9 Rescue co-founder, will pick them up and drive them back to Texas as soon as she has the green light.

We will update you when the other 12 make it safely, but we are still $4,000 away from our $5,000 goal we set last week for things they will need when they arrive: rehab, vet care, medication, food, etc.

Who can donate and get us across the finish line??

**Kimi’s adopter has placed this on hold— she is still available** 🥺

From Kuwait as a retired working dog to a rescue in Texas for 11 months…

Sweet Kimi is finally going to her forever home next week.

This is possible because you share our content.

This is possible because you donate.

If you want us to continue our mission of reuniting retired working dogs with their handlers or finding them forever homes, please donate today.

Even just $15 can make a difference.
