Help MK9 Reunite MWD Mozes with his Handler!

They served together. Now help us bring them back together.

MWD Mozes and MA2(AW) Zotoo became a certified Patrol Explosive Detector Dog Team in August 2023 and served together until April 2025.

During their time as a team, they supported multiple National Special Security Events and U.S. Secret Service missions, including the 2024 Democratic National Convention in Chicago, where their service received recognition from the Director of the Secret Service.

Zotoo later departed for a year-long assignment in Greece. Now he is back, and at six years old, MWD Mozes is retiring.

We have the opportunity to reunite Mozes with the handler who spent more time working beside him than anyone else.

This is exactly why Mission K9 Rescue exists, but reunions require transportation, coordination, and funding.

There are some dogs who walk into your life and quietly change it.

Meet **Mink.** ❤️

At 8 years old, this retired U.S. Navy working dog has spent his life serving others. Now, he’s ready for something he’s never had enough of: a person who is simply *his.*

Mink is a people dog through and through. He loves attention, happily soaks up pets, and will gladly stay by your side soaking in every bit of affection you’re willing to give.

And if you’re looking for a dog who will keep you laughing, Mink has that covered too. He LOVES to play fetch. The only problem? He’s not always convinced that giving the ball back is part of the game. 😂

He loves getting outside, exploring new places, stretching his legs, and taking in everything around him. He’s playful, curious, active, and happiest when he’s spending time with his people.

Mink does have one important request for his future family: **he needs to be the only dog in the home.** He can be reactive toward other dogs and would do best where he doesn’t have to share his space with canine siblings.

But if you’re looking for one loyal companion, one adventure buddy, one professional fetch player, and one very deserving retired hero…

After years of working and serving, he deserves a soft place to land. A family who will spoil him. A couch to call his own. A human who will remind him every day that his job now is simply to be loved.
