For the Kendrick family, JoyRide became more than a place to ride horses. It became a place where Michael could continue to thrive.💫

Through Therapeutic Riding and the PREP Day Program, Michael is surrounded by a community that celebrates his abilities, creates opportunities for engagement, and provides meaningful experiences that enrich his life. When he aged out of the traditional school system, his family faced uncertainty about what the future might hold. What they found at JoyRide was something they never expected: hope.

Hope that Michael's needs would be met. Hope that he would have opportunities to connect with others and be part of something meaningful.

We are honored to share the Kendrick family's story and grateful for the opportunity to walk alongside families like theirs. Their journey is a powerful reminder of why programs for adults with different abilities matter and why programs that support lifelong growth, connection, and belonging are so important.

🇺🇸 This Memorial Day, JoyRide Center remembers and honors the courageous men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedoms.

We also extend our heartfelt gratitude to all those who have served and continue to serve. Without your bravery, sacrifice, and courage we would not be the nation that we are today.

☀️ JoyRide Center PREP had a wonderful field trip to Nancy's Fancys to paint ceramics and then had a delicious lunch at the Treehouse Cafe! ☀️

🎨 Fun days out like these let our clients flex their creativity, share their smiles, and spread their unique brand of joy all across our community. A very special thank you to Mr. John for safely driving PREP to their field trip! 💜💕

🎼 While you spend your special day with your family, we hope that you enjoy this special song from our PREP family with the help of Mrs. Alyssa. PREP sang about their love for their Mothers and made special Tea Towels, Cake Pops, and Gumdrop Flowers as Mother's Day gifts. 🎁

We get the opportunity to work closesly with our client's families and get to see firsthand the special kind of love and strength granted to a parent or guardian of God's most special children. Thank you for all that you do and have a happy Mother's Day from us at JoyRide Center! 💕

🐴Training is in full swing here at JoyRide Center! With the help of our volunteers, mock lessons like these are ensuring improvement in the riding experience for all of our clients, some of which were there to watch with smiles on their faces. 🏇

📣In addition to training the familiar faces in our herd, we are excited to introduce our newest member. 🐴Teddy 🐴 is an 8 year old gelding who, as you can tell by these heartwarming photos, has already made a strong connection with our clients and staff. With the same careful instruction and mock lessons, Teddy will be ready for his first ride in no time and we can't wait to show you his progress! 💕
