WORLD OKAPI DAY: Today is the day! People around the world are helping bring awareness to the elusive, and enigmatic okapi. Rarely seen in the wild, the okapi is still relatively unknown outside of the continent of Africa. Today, we’re working to teach people that this beautiful animal exists and what we’re doing to help protect it. We’ll be sharing facts and unique tidbits throughout the day, so be sure to follow along and help spread the word.
