Two of our favorites: Moringa (top left) and Callisia fragrans (middle bottom). Both amazing plants have numerous benefits: Moringa is very high in potassium, vitamin A, and has anti-cancer and anti-diabetic properties among many more. Callisia fragrans is an easy to grow plant that strengthens immunity, is effective against arthritis, and has anti-bacterial effects especially against bacteria that cause respiratory illnesses. Plus, it grows babies that re-root easily so you can share with your friends. Awesome!

Today is the 80 year ago anniversary of the last time Congress passed a law regulating the cosmetics industry. As a result, skincare companies have been getting away with putting all sorts of toxic chemicals into their products without any oversight. These chemicals are causing serious health and hormonal issues. It’s time to educate ourselves and become more mindful of what we put in AND on our bodies. Because it does make a difference.
