The Madison Club’s Executive Chef, Adam Struebing has created unique dishes and drinks that symbolize and represent the various countries in which we make loans. Come join us for a once in a lifetime menu of international food and drink, and enjoy the company of people that care about how development, even far away, reaches all the way to Madison.

We are grateful to Chef Adam Struebing for designing such a thoughtful menu, featuring a dish inspired by each country where we have programs. You’ll get a taste of many different cultures while investing in the futures of the women and families who call those cultures home.

Greetings to all of you! We hope to see you on August 27 at our yearly in person gala. We have 4 special African dishes for you to sample at "An Evening Around the World". Chef Adam Struebing has created special dishes from each country where we have microfinance programs. We are in four African countries and the food choices look great. Adam is preparing Charred anchovies and sweet yams from Ghana, Coffee rubbed smoked pork with peanuts from Malawi, Kachumbari salad with white fish from Kenya and Nyami chicken skewers from Uganda. What a treat! Which one do you hope to sample first? I know which one I want. I love coffee!

Oh, and Chef Adam has also put his spin on special signature drinks from each country as well. We would love to see you!

Spend the evening with WorldWise Microfinance on August 27th on the rooftop of the Lyric Apartments (1010 E Washington Ave in downtown Madison). We’ll be celebrating another year of lifting families out of poverty in Africa, the Caribbean and South-east Asia.

We’ve enlisted the culinary talents of the Madison Club’s Executive Chef, Adam Struebing, to create unique dishes and drinks representing the countries of our partners.

You’ll learn about our new programs, and hear updates from the Philippines, the Dominican Republic, Ghana, Kenya and Uganda. You’ll be joined by folks with a passion for international development, women’s empowerment, poverty alleviation and providing a “hand up” instead of a “hand out”.

Celebrate the end of the summer on the rooftop of one of Madison’s newest iconic buildings, overlooking Breese Stevens Field and downtown Madison.

We always look forward to our annual Gala and are excited to share with you our many accomplishments and news about the new countries that we are currently having programs in. I just returned from the Philippines, where I spent four days with our partners on the island of Panay. I met many beneficiaries and saw first-hand the impact of micro-loans.

Our event is called, "An Evening Around the World". The venue, Lyric Rooftop Gallery at 1010 East Washington Ave in Madison has great views of the Madison skyline and we will be tasting some delicious foods. We have secured the Executive Chef, Adam Struebling, from the Madison Club, and he is preparing signature drinks and Hors D'Oeuvres from the countries we currently work with. The food looks fabulous.

We have the Executive Chef, Adam Struebling, from the Madison Club, preparing signature drinks and Hors D'Oeuvres from the countries we currently have programs in. We are really thrilled to have a chef so well-known, so famous and accomplished and he is excited too. As a former Peace Corps Volunteer in the Philippines, I am most curious to sample the Tocilog Deviled Eggs!! Adam will also have tasty food to sample from Uganda, Malawi, Kenya, Ghana, Dominican Republic and Haiti.

Chef Adam said, "I've enjoyed working with the WorldWise Microfinance team and understanding more about each of the countries they make loans in. I'm really excited with the dishes and drinks that reflect each of those countries, and can't wait for people to sample these creations at the "Evening Around the World" fundraiser on August 27th. This will be the grand launch of these creations and they will only be available for the public to taste on the 27th."
