Returning to the Alliant Energy Center, the weekend festivities are open to the public, free of charge. Dates are April 29-30, 2023.

In addition to the halter show competition, the combined 2023 Wisconsin Alpaca & Fiber Fest and The Great Midwest Alpaca Festival will feature a walking fleece show, fiber arts contests, seminars, and more than 50 vendors.

I want to thank everyone involved in scheduling the classes here at the Wisconsin Alpaca & Fiber Fest! We had 3 wonderful drop spinning classes this year. The students were all great! We all had so much fun! Thank you all!

It's a wrap! The 2026 Great Midwest Alpaca Festival and Wisconsin Alpaca and Fiber Fest is in the books. Thank you to everyone who traveled to Madison, Wisconsin to participate in the competition, meet your first alpaca, learn to spin, take a fiber seminar or sell your fiber-related products. We hope you learned how special these amazing alpacas are and the incredible fleece they produce. If you still have questions and want more information, grab a copy of the show book below. Alpaca and fiber festivals return to Madison this weekend The 2026 Great Midwest Alpaca Festival and the Wisconsin Alpaca and Fiber Fest return to the Alliant Energy Center’s New Holland Pavilion One April 25 and 26.

Had a wonderful time this morning with Tabitha Bland from Madison TV station WMTV 15. She did several interviews on the morning show. Everyone was well behaved—including the alpacas. Stars were born! We’ll post the video when it’s available.

Magic Willows Alpacas of Hartford, will be returning as a vendor this year. Their farm store features a variety of alpaca products including yarn, socks- some from their own Suri alpacas- scarves, hats, needlefelting kits and supplies as well as farm-related gifts and decor. Their products include a combination of local, handmade, U.S.-made, and Fair Trade imports from Peru.
