This is Ryan Anderson doing my last post. There are too many projects that I would like to share in a post, but I saw this photo at Reflo's Green Schools Consortium of Milwaukee - GSCM annual conference last week and thought this best sums up my nine years with Midwest Grows Green. Getting my hands dirty, volunteering and being able to demonstrate that we can cost-effectively grow vegetation on schoolyards without synthetic pesticides and fertilizers is what MGG is all about. Thank you to everyone that has made this work possible. I will be speaking once more about schoolyard restorations and MGG successes on during the Schoolyard Maintentance Virtual Workshop September 26th. Please register at bit.ly/SchoolyardMaintenance2024 I hope to continue to see more management of greenspaces safe for children, pets and pollinators to live, learn and play. Thank you!
