💻NGL’s Newly Enhanced Website Adds Chat Feature for Preneed (Funeral Insurance) Policyholders 💬
When NGL launched its new website in late 2025, it was developed to deliver a faster, more intuitive, user-friendly digital experience for current and potential policyholders, agents and job candidates.
“The new website reflects NGL’s ongoing commitment to innovation, transparency and providing excellent customer service by offering streamlined navigation, modern design and expanded access to product and company information,” said Maria Lubick, Assistant Vice President, Corporate Communications and Community Engagement. “We focused on creating a website that is informative, easy to navigate and accessible across all devices while better showcasing our products, service and company values.”
A major addition to the website is the introduction of a live customer service chat feature. Preneed (funeral insurance) policyholders with policy-related questions can connect directly with an NGL customer service representative in real-time, during NGL business hours. This new feature provides faster assistance, personalized support and a more convenient way for policyholders to receive answers without needing to place a phone call or wait for an email response.
“This new chat feature technology allows us to connect with policyholders faster, helping reduce call volumes and improve wait times,” said Drew Prenli, Assistant Vice President, Customer and Distribution Solutions. “Providing a superb customer service experience is a priority at NGL. Our experienced representatives set us apart from other insurance carriers. That’s why policyholders can be confident that when they message us on chat, they are speaking to an actual NGL representative in Madison, not an AI bot.”

As the month of May ends, we wanted to recognize the importance of it being Mental Health Awareness Month. Mental health is just as important as physical health.
At NGL, we believe in creating a supportive workplace and fostering a culture where our team members feel empowered to take care of their mental health.
Throughout the month we shared a variety of resources for our team members. A special thank you to Dr. Katie Schmitt, Medical Director of UnityPoint Health – Meriter Child & Adolescent Psychiatry (CAP) Program for speaking to our team. We learned more about the program and how it helps to equip youth ages 6-18 with the tools to support their mental health needs.
Mental health wellness is so important at any age. NGL is a supporter of the work CAP does and has contributed to the facility’s expansion from 20 to 30 beds.

Steve started his career with the NGL Agent Solutions Team in July 2024. “I love helping agents and coworkers learn about NGL and what we can offer to families in need,” Steve says.
In his free time, Steve can be found hiking or camping, playing video games, travelling and trying new food.

The Grand Opening Ribbon Cutting ceremony at The Center for Black Excellence and Culture marked an historic moment for all of Wisconsin earlier this month. Over 1,500 people from Greater Madison and across the state came to celebrate The Center. NGL believes in the mission and the impact The Center will have in our community and is proud to be a donor of the project.

We recently traveled to St. Pete for the National Funeral Directors Association Professional Women’s Conference (PWC) and had a blast learning and celebrating with inspiring women in deathcare!
We were introduced to Jenn Schlosser, this year’s NFDA Inspiration Award recipient, sponsored by NGL. Jenn is the co-owner of Schlosser Funeral Home and Cremation Services in Wapakoneta, Ohio. She said being named the recipient of this award is the most humbling moment of her career in funeral service.
