Comrades theough the centuries! Another demonstration by Art Stef and myself at the ren fair put on by Middleton Public Library !

I did a LARP :)

Played a redwing blackbird themed character, as they're all over the place at the moment and the territorial defense suited the story well. Ultimately, she was defeated while defending a ritual taking place. Classic villain stuff hey?

Used some old armor here: black coat of plates, bascinet, amd great helm all made about 8 years ago! Though they still fit :) Featuring a little helm crest i made at 2am.

A work in progress

Started a long time ago, I made a prototype fencing helmet for a fencing friend. You'll find more of it in previous posts, but it is now hurtling uncontrollably into just being a burgonet with a perf visor.

Many more tweaks to come, but just to show you something that is on my workbench :)
