We would like to thank East limestone fire department for assisting us on a structure fire yesterday on Schrimsher Road

We would like to send our thoughts and prayers to Elkmont fire department, and this young man’s family

We would like to extend our sincere condolences to Elkmont Volunteer Fire Department and the family of Jeremiah Scott.

We would like to thank Tanner FD, East Limestone FD, and Forestry for helping us with a corn field fire off Mooresville and Fennel Rd today, we would also like to thank Grayson Carter for bringing 2 water trucks and a tractor with a disk, it is extremely dry right now, please refrain from burning.

The road closure for Segers Road at Maecille Drive will resume on September 15. Access to Stillwater Cove subdivision from Segers Road using Chesnut Heath Court will also be closed. Residents, emergency vehicles, and school buses will need to use the Hardin Oak Drive entrance to access the southern portion of Stillwater Cove. Everyone in the Greenbriar, Belle Mina, Swancott and Moorsville Communities, be weather aware tomorrow, if you need shelter then Parker Methodist Church on Powell Road has a storm shelter out beside the road and the church itself has a basement, everyone stay safe, looking like a long event
