It’s a particularly good year for the bluebells.
A few things worth knowing before you head out:
Watch the light. Early mornings or late afternoons bring a softness to the woods that midday never quite holds.
Follow the path. They are more delicate than they look, and keeping to the trail means they return again next April.
Slow the pace. It’s not something you rush when it looks like this.
