Today, we remember and honor the brave Allied soldiers who stormed the beaches of Normandy on June 6, 1944.

On D-Day, thousands of young men faced unimaginable danger in defense of freedom, knowing many would never return home. Their courage, sacrifice, and unwavering commitment helped turn the tide of World War II and changed the course of history.

May we never forget their sacrifice, and may we always honor the legacy of the Greatest Generation.

Today, we remember the Americans who laid down their lives in service to our country. Memorial Day is a solemn reminder of the cost of freedom and the sacrifice made by those who never returned home.

We honor the fallen, mourn their loss, and pray for the families who carry that sacrifice every day. May we never forget those who gave their lives so that we may live in freedom.

It was a privilege to attend the Memorial Day ceremony at the War Memorial Center and see the Field of Flags. One American Flag is displayed for each of the 27,316 service members who paid the ultimate sacrifice in defense of our great nation.
May we never forget their sacrifice!
