!!!NEW DATE and TIME for COURSEWORK CLASS w/ MEA ROBERTS!!! Mondays 7:30pm starting June 1.

This coursework class is designed for teams currently competing or preparing to compete in agility. Courses and sequences will be tailored to accommodate both Novice/Open and Masters-level teams, allowing handlers and dogs to develop skills appropriate to their experience level.
Teams will practice handling, obstacle commitment, and finding the best lines. Emphasis is placed on teamwork, communication, and developing the skills needed for successful agility performance at every level.
This class will have 2 course options that handlers can choose from. Dogs must be proficient on all agility obstacles and able to work in an active group class environment.
Class dates: Monday’s: June 1, 8, 15, 22

ADVANCED HANDLING and SEQUENCING (Starting May 21st at 4:00pm-5:15pm) Cost $115 for 4 weeks (No Class on 6/11) 2 Spots Left!
Designed for experienced teams working on longer sequences and full courses, this class focuses on course ex*****on, consistency, efficiency, and teamwork. Handlers will learn to analyze sequences, make effective handling choices, and improve communication and timing on course while keeping training fun and rewarding for their dogs.

Teams will continue developing and advancing skills such as front and rear crosses, blind crosses, threadles, backsides, wraps, and line management while working through common sequencing challenges. Emphasis will be placed on clear and consistent handling so dogs can confidently understand their path throughout the course while improving overall performance, teamwork, and obstacle commitment.

Prerequisite: Dogs should be familiar with all agility equipment and sequencing skills at the Open level or higher, or have instructor approval.

WEAVE POLE FOUNDATIONS (Starting May 28th at 5:30pm-6:45pm) Cost $115 for 4 weeks (No Class on 6/11) 3 Spots Left!
This class is designed to help dogs build confidence, understanding, and independence with weave poles through progressive skill development and problem-solving exercises. Training will incorporate channel weaves, the 2x2 method, and competition-style weave poles to help dogs develop a clear understanding of the weaving motion while building value for the obstacle in a fun and motivating environment.

Handlers and dogs will focus on proper entries, footwork drills, forward drive, rhythm, commitment, and confidence at every stage of training. Teams will work through common weave pole challenges while improving consistency and understanding. Small sequences using jumps and tunnels may also be incorporated depending on each dog’s current level of weave training to help build flow, commitment, and performance within short agility-style exercises.

This class is perfect for dogs new to weave poles, or any dogs continuing to progress on 4, 6, or 12 poles, or teams looking to strengthen foundation skills and improve reliability and performance.

Prerequisite: Dogs must be over 11 months of age to participate.

ADVANCED HANDLING and SEQUENCING-2 Spots Left!
(Starting May 21st at 2:30pm-3:45pm) Cost $115 for 4 weeks (No Class on 6/11)
Suitable for young dogs, dogs just starting agility, or advanced dogs needing a refresher on foundation skills and small sequences. This class focuses on building clear communication between handler and dog while improving understanding of handling cues and obstacle commitment.

Teams will work on skills designed to strengthen handling techniques and improve teamwork, including driving lines, front and rear crosses, blind crosses, backsides, 180s, threadles, and more. Dogs and handlers will practice these skills through short sequences and progressive exercises aimed at building confidence, timing, and consistency on course.

This class is ideal for teams looking to strengthen foundations, improve handling mechanics, and develop smoother, more efficient course work.

Prerequisite: Dogs must be familiar with all agility equipment or receive instructor approval prior to registering.

NEW CLASS: PUPPY / FOUNDATIONS

Whether you have a brand new puppy or an older dog you would like to start foundation training this class is for you! This class will be taught in In Sync Agility's Blue Room and will not use any "real" agility equipment. This class will utilize games and low impact exercises to increase balance, build confidence, rear-end awareness, and impulse control all while building a strong bond with their trainer.

This is an 6 week session / 75 minutes per week taught by Mea Roberts.

Start your dog sports journey the right way! This foundations class is designed to help dogs develop the body awareness, confidence, and essential skills needed for future agility and other dog sports training.
Through games and low-impact exercises, dogs will learn balance, coordination, engagement, rear-end awareness, and impulse control all while building a stronger bond with their handler. No jumping or strenuous equipment is used, making this class safe and appropriate for dogs of all ages.
Whether your goal is future agility competition or simply raising a confident, engaged dog, this class creates a strong foundation for success.
Perfect for puppies and dogs of all breeds and experience levels.
Age range 8 weeks and up
Class dates: Mondays: June 1, 8, 15, 22, 29, July 6

This class focuses on building confidence, commitment, and handling skills through sequences using only jumps and tunnels. Teams will work on timing, obstacle commitment, and finding the best lines while strengthening the foundational skills needed for your future agility career.
Exercises and sequences are designed to emphasize skill building, teamwork, and handler mechanics. Dogs and handlers will work on skills that improve confidence, focus, and connection while navigating simple to moderately challenging sequences.
This class is perfect for teams looking to strengthen foundation skills, work on handling, and build confidence on course. Suitable for dogs with agility foundations and the ability to work around other dogs in an active training environment.
Class dates: Fridays: June 5, 19, July 3, 10, 17, 24

SKILLS: BACKSIDES AND THREADLES - Fridays 6:30-7:45PM

This class is designed to teach and strengthen backside and threadle skills for teams looking to improve these skills. Teams will break down each skill through progressive exercises that build understanding and confidence for both dog and handler.

Handlers will learn the mechanics needed to successfully execute backsides and threadles, while dogs will build their commitment and confidence.

We will spend the first 3 weeks of class teaching these skills, and the last 3 weeks incorporating these skills into short sequences.

We will cover both threadle and backside wraps and slices in this class. Dogs should be familiar with jumps and tunnels and be able to work in a class environment.
Class dates: Fridays: June 5, 19, July 3, 10, 17, 24
