Madison Community Fridges

Warmer weather means we want to feel cooler and that is true for our fridge as well. If you've been by recently, you'll notice we've taken off the outer doors, which hold in too much heat in warmer weather.

Take a peek inside, you will see we are stocked with fruit, water and sandwiches. Our sandwich making crew is phenomenal!

If you felt the effects of the wind yesterday, you weren't alone. Our fridge took a big hit. For now, it can only be accessed through the left hand side. We appreciate your patience while we look into getting some repairs made.

Our partnership with Badger Prairie Needs Network is a continual source of excellent foods, and occasional surprises. Today we learned of this new product, sure to be a hit with pickle lovers... and perhaps with those who play pickle ball!
Via , we also receive some wonderful soups and meals from Epic Systems. These delicious entrees are popular and nutritious.

Our wonderful volunteers have outdone themselves! The fridge and pantry are well stocked and well organized. Lots of variety too! We appreciate our partnership with . Their donation program is a treasure!

We're all aware that it's extremely cold - dangerously so. There are housing resources available and we hope all who need are making use of those options.

The extreme low temperatures affect what food items we can safely put out. Cans will burst and make a mess in the pantry, not to mention the loss of usable items. However, there are still plenty of things available, and our thoughtful, diligent team is working steadily to keep food accessible. Stay safe, everyone!

If a ready-to-eat meal would hit the spot, stop by the fridge at 944 E. Gorham Street. These and others are available, as well as the usual rotation of peanut butter, beans, veggies, etc. We are grateful for our partnership with who help us keep our fridge and pantry well stocked.

Madison community fridge supports neighbors year-round MADISON (WKOW) — A community fridge outside Christ Presbyterian Church has become a vital resource for residents over the last five years.
