Had the pleasure of delivering this fun quilt - designed by Carolyn at Comfy Quilts and Designs - to some friends. They were very surprised and pleased to accept a chicken themed summer weight quilt. Especially as they raise chickens and do share some of the eggs with us!! The chicken foot print fabric was the biggest hit out of all of the quilt! The chicken design on the minky took second place in the most favorite part of the quilt!!

Had the pleasure of delivering these memory bears this week.
I always love how each bear has a unique look and different personality.

I was honored to be able to test another fantastic pattern by Comfy Quilts and Designs. My version was hard to photograph and show all the shimmer in my quilt top.
If you want a stunning way to show off any panel you may have this is a great pattern to pick - it can be run up in a weekend!

Today is release day for

I was honored to be part of test group for this quilt. I had lots of fun fussy cutting to show off the sea animals. This comes together so easily… as a bonus this pattern is written to use fat quarters and we all have lots of them - least I do!!
This pattern has just been released - it’s a free pattern from Belle at Seams Sew Me

I surprised my sister by entering into the Mary’s Challenge. I made 3 fidget blankets and mailed them across the pond to Home Instead-Southampton.
This challenge was named for my Mum… as for the last several years she has been knitting and then my sister finishing them into fidget blankets - and then they donate them to Home Instead.
All the blankets entered are on show today and then will be paired and gifted with their clients with dementia.
These are great fun to make - lots of things on the blankets to keep the hands busy, zips, Velcro, pockets, a small toy, beads to move etc.

I had pleasure to be picked to test this quilt pattern - it’s release day - this is a fabulous quilt pattern designed by Kate from

I made the baby size version of the quilt and then added a couple of borders before finishing it with a light blue minky as the backing.
