Someone recently asked me, “Why don’t you just hire an assistant with how busy you are?”

And honestly, I’ve thought about this question a lot.

The truth is… I feel like it would take away one of the most important parts of my business.

I didn’t build High Class Studio by creating a business that people simply book a service from. I built it around ME, it started with just ME. From my personality, my relationships, my communication, my vision, and genuinely connecting with the people who trust me with some of the biggest days of their lives.

So when you inquire with High Class Studio, you’re not talking to a general inbox. You’re not getting passed off to an assistant. You’re not filling out a form and waiting for an automated response. You’re not talking to an AI or receiving a generic copy & paste message.

You’re talking to ME. 10 min long Voice messages and all 🤣 (IYKYK)

Every inquiry. Every question. Every timeline. Every little detail. Every conversation leading up to your wedding day.

And I know that probably sounds crazy considering how many brides we work with, how busy my life is, and how many other things I have going on. 😂 But it genuinely matters SO much to me.

I want to know you. I want to know what you’re envisioning. I want to hear the things you’re nervous about. I want to be able to recognize your name when you message me and remember the conversations we’ve had.

Because that is the kind of business I wanted to build, and the kind of business I want to maintain.

Of course, I have an incredible team who helps bring some of your wedding day visions to life in person but when it comes to the relationship between you and this business, I never want you to feel like you’re just another number on a spreadsheet. I want you to feel like there is a real person on the other side of your message who genuinely cares. Because trust me, once you get to know me you will know just how MUCH I care. 🥹😮‍💨

And as this business continues to grow, I never want to grow so much that I lose the reason people came in the first place. 🤍

So yes… I could hire an assistant.

But for me, keeping that personal connection isn’t an inconvenience to the business.

It IS the business. ♥️

First day of school (missing 2 of my babies) 🤍

One of my favorite things about owning a business is that I get to share more than just the business. i love sharing the behind the scenes to my life outside of “work” ❤️

Because behind this business is a real person. A mom. A fiancé. A family. A house full of kids. And soon… another sweet baby. 🥹

And today as I sent my babies off for another school year, I found myself feeling incredibly grateful.

Grateful that I built a business that allows me the freedom to be there for moments like this. I don’t ever have to miss a milestone. Grateful that I can take my kids to school on their first day and pick them up. Grateful that next month I get to welcome another baby into our family and take the amount of time off that I choose to take. Grateful that I get to build my schedule around my family instead of constantly having to choose between being a mom and being a business owner.

But none of that happens without YOU.

To every bride who has trusted me with one of the biggest days of her life.
To every client who has sat in my chair.
To every person who has shared my work, recommended me to a friend, booked a session, bought a gift certificate, or simply continued to cheer me on…

Thank you. Truly.

You aren’t just booking a service with me. You are helping support a dream that provides for my family and gives me something that money can’t buy- time and freedom with the people I love most.

I will never take that for granted.

So while you may see me sharing a picture of my kids today that has absolutely nothing to do with hair or makeup, this is a part of my business. Because these little faces are a huge part of why I do what I do.
