Sitrep from Chemo Boot Camp

It’s Wednesday, and under normal circumstances, I’d be finishing the stream intro right about now. Instead, I’ve been almost silent while Household 6 and I have been deep in "chemo boot camp." We needed the time offline to figure out the layout of this battle and learn exactly how this treatment affects us day-to-day.

As you can see, we’re now both rocking the bald look. When the chemo hair loss started, we decided to take the initiative and face it lockstep, a team inside the house and out.

What we've learned from boot camp so far is that this is a game of pacing. Each cycle runs on a 3-week block, and those first two weeks are incredibly rough. By the time that third week rolls around, she gets a window of good energy back, and we take full advantage of it to recharge.
We know the terrain now, we know what to expect, and as you can see, Household 6 is facing it head-on with a smile.
The battle continues, and we’re taking it one ridge at a time. I need to get better about keeping everyone updated, but please know your support behind the scenes means the world to us.
