Men come to Next Step from all backgrounds. Prison, addiction, homelessness, lost, bitter, angry, hurt, uneducated, educated, skilled, unskilled. Ray came to Next Step with much against him. Last month we started the process of getting his face tattoo’s removed. This week Ray began working full time. Next Step is here for men who want change. We are here to Raise the Roof!
Trusting God through current challenges is made easier by remembering and reflecting on the past successes.

THRIVE is a special blessing this evening. Tonight we celebrate our executive directors birthday— Todd shares a birthday with one of the men in our program, Ken.
With Finchers BBQ on the menu, we are blessed to hear the testimony of a great preacher, Sean King. Sean has a powerful ministry at Northway leading Celebrate Recovery every Monday night.

Cleo, the Great Pyrenees, is a gentle giant, unless he senses someone is coming after one of the men in the program, at which point he inserts himself between them.
Initially, Cleo protected goats on a goat farm—now he spends his days at Next Step watching over the property and the men who absolutely adore him. He has become a therapy dog of sorts. When he senses a man in the program is struggling, Cleo will often approach them and place his head in their lap.
Cleo was found this morning by the breakfast table, getting spoiled by the men with some fresh blueberries.
