Salute to this Alcorn Alumna, taking a leading role at the busiest Aipprt in the World, Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport.
Alcorn alumna Tangela Parker was recently named airport director of marketing and brand services for the Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport. After 22 years of progressive leadership roles in the healthcare industry, Parker made the leap to aviation. We express our sincere condolences to the family, the MS Gulf Coast Alcorn Alumni Foundation, & the Moss Point-Pascagoula Chapter on the loss of this Brave Hero who touched the lives of so many!
The MS Gulf Coast ASU Alumni Foundation remembers our own beloved Grady McMillion. He served both the MS ASU Gulf Coast Foundation and the Moss Point-Pascagoula Chapter tirelessly. Because of his dedication to Alcorn State University, the students, and the community, we affectionally called him our "Mr. Alcorn". He will be dearly missed.
Nothing like the Spring Semester on the Academic Resort. And as the late President George H. W. Bush described it, “this special, secluded college [Alcorn] is the wind beneath your wings”.
