Over the past year, I've had more and more people ask if we would ever ship meat from Not Forgotten Farmstead. It's something we're seriously considering, but before taking that step, I'd love to hear directly from you.

If we offered home delivery of our farm-raised meats to customers in other states, would you order from us?

We raise our livestock with a focus on rotational grazing, healthy animals, and producing high-quality meat we're proud to feed our own family.

2026 | Heritage Kiko Showcase Sale Join us for the 9th Annual Heritage Kiko Showcase Sale. 

This year has been a fun one as we continue figuring out which fruit trees truly thrive here on our farm.

Our Elberta peach tree gave us a pretty good crop this season. We pick those a little early and let them finish ripening on the kitchen counter, and they've been a great producer for us.

Our Majestic peach tree gave us its very first peaches this year, and I have to say... I'm impressed. They ripen right on the tree, they're incredibly sweet, and the skin is so tender you can eat it without peeling a thing.

Every season teaches us something new, and it's exciting to see which varieties earn a permanent place here at Not Forgotten Farmstead.

Some books entertain you. Others challenge the way you see the world.
I just started reading Pastoral Song: A Farmer’s Journey by James Rebanks, and from the first few chapters, I can already tell this isn’t simply a book about farming. It’s about the responsibility we carry as stewards of the land and the decisions we make that will outlive us.
As ranchers, it’s easy to get caught up in the daily routine of feeding livestock, fixing fences, and putting out the next fire. Every once in a while, though, a book reminds you to slow down and ask why you’re doing it all in the first place.
I’m looking forward to seeing where this journey takes me. I’ll share my thoughts as I work through it, and when I finish, I’ll give an honest review—what I agreed with, what challenged me, and what I think fellow ranchers can take away from it.
