It’s back-to-school time!

Today was Tiana’s first day of school, and we’re excited to watch our 2nd grader begin another year of learning, growing, and making new memories. ❤️

We’re also sending our best wishes to every student starting a new school year, the parents working hard to get everyone prepared, the teachers welcoming new classes, and the administrators and staff who help keep our schools moving forward.

After the NCNW induction ceremony, I headed home, kept my pearls and shoes, traded dresses and made my way to Derby in the Vines where I by chance, met a former President of another NCNW Chapter. 💜 👯‍♀️

It was the perfect way to end an already memorable day of great conversations, beautiful people, lots of laughter, and a room full of hats that definitely understood the assignment. 😊

Over the weekend, I had the honor of being inducted into the National Council of Negro Women.
