Today marks the longest day of the year and the official first day of summer.

Take a moment today to enjoy the extra daylight, explore the outdoors, and reflect on those who called Ocmulgee home.

We love these adorable 100-piece puzzles in our gift shop! Featuring wildlife you might spot at the park today or wildlife that roamed here thousands of years ago 🦣🐊🦊

Primarily to find a mate, lay eggs or search for new habitats.

Please slow down and stay alert while driving through the park. Don’t worry about this little one — we waited until it made it safely across the road. What a beautiful turtle.
