It’s Instructional Coach Appreciation Day… and we’ve got a pretty great one! 💛
Today we’re celebrating Mr. Rusty Owens…instructional coach, problem solver, idea generator, teacher supporter, and occasional finder of solutions to problems we didn’t even know how to explain.
Whether he’s sharing a great resource, brainstorming with teachers, jumping in to help, or just making us laugh along the way, Mr. Owens brings plenty of knowledge AND personality to Clifton Ridge!
We’re thankful for all the ways he supports our teachers and students. And, especially thankful that he makes the work a whole lot more fun while he’s doing it.
Help us give Mr. Owens a big Cougar THANK YOU today! 🐾👏

Congratulations to Mrs. Sharp, our Teacher of the Month! Teachers of the Month are nominated by our students, and we are so proud that her students recognize the hard work, dedication, and care she gives them each day.
Thank you, Mrs. Sharp, for making a difference in the lives of your students and for showing what it means to be a Cougar! 🐾💜💛
🐾 Just another day in Cougar Country! 💜💛
Clifton R. Cougar tagged along today to see what a day at CRMS really looks like. And, let’s just say, this Cougar gets around! From classrooms to hallways and everywhere in between, there’s always something happening at Clifton Ridge.
Lots of learning. Lots of laughs. Lots of Cougar pride.
Just another great day to be a Cougar! 💜💛🤍

We wrapped up an AMAZING Homecoming Spirit Week at Clifton Ridge by showing off our Cougar pride for Fanatic Friday! From head to toe, our halls were filled with purple, gold, and plenty of CRMS spirit!
And tonight, we’re sending that school spirit right down the road to Jones County High School! 🏈🐾 Wishing the JCHS Greyhounds the very best in their Homecoming game this evening!
Go Cougars! Go Hounds! And GO JC! 💜💛

The Jones County School System is deeply saddened by the tragic loss of one of our Mattie Wells students. Our hearts are with the student’s family, friends, classmates, teachers, and all those impacted by this heartbreaking loss.
Counseling and support services will be available for students and staff on Monday as our school community grieves together.
We ask that everyone keep those affected in their thoughts and prayers during this incredibly difficult time.
