Today, Mrs. Humphries and Mrs. Sharpโs classes used manipulatives to model and demonstrate adding and subtracting positive and negative numbers. Engaging in hands-on activities helps students build a deeper understanding of integer operations while making math meaningful and fun!

๐ฒ Rolling the dice on learningโฆ and coming up with success! ๐โจ
Collaboration was the name of the game as Ms. Keenum, Mrs. Johnson, and Ms. Sowellโs 6th grade math classes teamed up to practice analyzing data using dice! Students worked together to collect, organize, and interpret data while sharpening their math skills through hands-on learning.
Who knew a simple roll of the dice could lead to so much critical thinking, teamwork, and fun? We love seeing our Cougars learning by doing! ๐๐
