Today, Mrs. Humphries and Mrs. Sharp’s classes used manipulatives to model and demonstrate adding and subtracting positive and negative numbers. Engaging in hands-on activities helps students build a deeper understanding of integer operations while making math meaningful and fun!

Please take a moment this evening to check your student’s purple folder for a few important forms that need to be completed and returned.

These forms are required for every Clifton Ridge student, and returning them as soon as possible helps us keep accurate records and provide the best support for your child throughout the school year.

🎲 Rolling the dice on learning… and coming up with success! 📊✨

Collaboration was the name of the game as Ms. Keenum, Mrs. Johnson, and Ms. Sowell’s 6th grade math classes teamed up to practice analyzing data using dice! Students worked together to collect, organize, and interpret data while sharpening their math skills through hands-on learning.

Who knew a simple roll of the dice could lead to so much critical thinking, teamwork, and fun? We love seeing our Cougars learning by doing! 💜💛

Join us for our Title I Family Engagement Cougar Kickoff on Monday, August 17, from 6:00–7:00 PM! Come meet your child’s teachers, learn about curriculum, connect with our administration, and discover the many resources available to help your Cougar have a successful year.

We’re excited to welcome our Cougar fall athletes, who will be making a special appearance to meet students and families! Be sure to stop by, say hello, and help cheer on the teams as they kick off an exciting fall sports season.

Today, 8th grade students in Mrs. Oller’s science class kicked off the year with a classroom scavenger hunt!

Students explored their new science classroom, learned where items were located, and practiced using some basic science tools they’ll be working with all year. It was the perfect mix of teamwork, problem-solving, and fun!

Mission accomplished...they’re officially ready to dive into the exciting world of Physical Science! Here’s to a year full of curiosity, discovery, and hands-on learning! 💜💛
