Since joining Mercer Culinary Group in 2019, Jarvis has helped shape the future of campus dining, serving as food service director and director of operations before becoming general manager. His passion for culinary excellence and hospitality continues to inspire our team and enhance the guest experience across campus.

After nearly 38 years of dedicated service with Aramark, Mercer Culinary Group proudly celebrates the retirement of Janet Walker, former district manager. Throughout her remarkable career, Janet helped shape collegiate hospitality through visionary leadership, meaningful mentorship, and an unwavering commitment to service.

Colleagues from Aramark Collegiate Hospitality's Southeast Region and members of the Mercer University community recently gathered to celebrate Janet's outstanding career, reflect on her many accomplishments, and thank her for the relationships she built and the difference she made along the way.

Janet joined Mercer University's dining program as food service director in 1995 before advancing to area district manager and district manager. Over the course of her career, she provided leadership to 38 higher education campuses and six business dining and healthcare partners across six states, leaving a lasting impact on countless associates, clients, and campus communities.

As Janet begins this well-earned retirement, she looks forward to spending more time with family and friends and enjoying her favorite pastime of gardening.
