We are excited about GDDI Brunch-N-Learn Weekend!
📅 June 13th and 14th
Day 1️⃣A time for parents and caregivers to bond with their teen girls (ages 13-19) over healthy and necessary conversations.
Day 2️⃣A learning experience with a master florist and a time to fellowship and connect over brunch.

It’s officially summertime in Macon-Bibb County! ☀️

Pools at Frank Johnson Recreation Center-Unionville, Delores A. Brooks Recreation Center, and South Bibb Recreation Center, along with splash pads at South Bibb Rec Center and Freedom Park, are now open for the season.

Pool admission is $1, and children must be accompanied by an adult.

Northeast High School is excited to offer students an exclusive opportunity to earn their Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credential in just ONE year while also earning dual enrollment credit.

This new healthcare pathway is designed to help students build leadership skills, gain real-world healthcare experience, and prepare for high-demand careers in nursing, allied health, and medicine — all while still in high school.

GDDI Winners’ Mindset Program helps teen girls to gain an understanding of what a winner is and what it takes to develop a winning attitude. We teach the girls that the decision to continually choose the right attitude will bring many benefits. Najiva Timothee recognized one of her mentees, Essence Brown.

She graduated from our program this year, but most importantly was the first student to complete the GDDI Winner’s Mindset Challenge receiving a monetary gift.
