After taking a couple weeks off of moving molds, we made a 4th trip! It took about three hours to unload, this was halfway. It was hot & humid but the rain held off! Ninety-five percent of these are DOLLS! Arms, legs, hands, feet shoulder plates, joint-balls and ears - lot of ears! KILN OPENING LATE TODAY!!

This past Friday evening, we hosted our first Pottery with Purpose event! I still can’t bring myself to find the words to express how I feel about this group of ladies! Thanks to Missy and Peggy for making this program possible. Missy provided the inspiring devotion, to-never-be-forgotten in the clay vessels we created. Peggy’s expertise in stoneware clay hand-building is extensive and made it possible for both of us to, hands-on, help all the participants! Most all of these ladies have never hand built a purposeful piece of pottery from raw stoneware clay! Twenty bread masterpieces and “18 inches” later, we left out hearts and finger prints in the clay to never sway from our beliefs. The goodie bags, hand-outs, the togetherness, the fellowship, the hugs, the testament, the bonding, the support, were all extras in making a room full of like-minded, Christian women, love each other unconditionally. My eyes welled up as we read the survey questionnaire answers at the end of the night! Take a minute and read some of the responses below! Can you believe we only took one picture! Next month, I promise, we’ll take more! And yes, a couple have already signed up to attend June’s Pottery with Purpose for creating a garden sundial. We hope you will join us, Saturday, June 27th, 9-11 am at Prairie Rhodes Art Room, 119 S Main St., Moweaqua, Illinois. Cost is $25. Register by calling or texting the studio at 217-620-6845 or email: [email protected]
MOST MEANINGFUL MOMENT: “18” devotion”; “all was very therapeutic”; “devotional”; “spot on! Loved it!”; “the sincerity of the devotion, the individual project help”; “the reminder that Jesus is the reason for my life and THE bread of my life”.
