Our administrative offices are closed today, but as always, our 24-hour stations remain open and ready to serve you.

🚒Today we had the pleasure of welcoming students from the Community Transitions Program for a tour of our Laurel station. These amazing young adults got an up-close look at our equipment, met our crew, and learned what it takes to keep our community safe. Thank you for visiting us! It made our day 😁

This EMS Week, we’re honoring our EMTs at NWFR and our neighboring EMTs and paramedics who are ready to respond to anything at a moment’s notice. Their dedication behind every call is extraordinary.

Drill ground? Nope, this past week we took to the classroom 😄🔥 Some of our firefighters stepped into the classroom for our Officer Preparation Academy and honestly, we love to see it! Bonus to see some current officers join in to hone their skills as well, always learning!

Yesterday our Station 69 crew had the privilege to work with students from the NCTA Fire Science Program,Meridian Campus at Meridian High School teaching forcible entry skills and techniques.

This amazing program serves students from all of the School Districts in Whatcom County working to educate and prepare students for a potential career in the fire service.

It was an amazing day passing on knowledge to the next generation of firefighters🔥
