Happy World Cerebral Palsy Day! 💚
Today, we celebrate and champion our Villagers and all individuals living with Cerebral Palsy. We recognize the incredible contributions they make to the communities around them and, especially, to High Point Village!
We recognize their resilience, strength, and determination in navigating the many challenges they face daily. Most importantly, we celebrate their unique abilities, accomplishments, personalities, and the joy they bring to everyone around them! ✨💚
Today, and every day after, we celebrate our friends with Cerebral Palsy for exactly who they are and all that they bring to High Point Village and the community around us!

One of our favorite outings of the year is going to the South Plains Fair! 🎡🎠✨
This past week, our Villagers had a BLAST at the fair! From enjoying all the yummy fair food to admiring the beautiful artwork and petting all the sweet animals, it was a day full of fun!!🤩

October is Down Syndrome Awareness Month! 💙💛
Individuals with Down syndrome bring so much joy, love, laughter, and light to those around them. They remind us to celebrate the little moments, love big, and appreciate the beauty in every day.
But beyond the smiles and joy, it’s important to remember that individuals with Down syndrome experience many of the same challenges, emotions, dreams, and milestones as everyone else. They work hard, overcome challenges, build friendships, pursue their goals, and make a difference in the lives of those around them.
This month, and every day after, we celebrate our friends with Down syndrome for exactly who they are and all that they bring to High Point Village and the community around us!💛

Our High Point Hurricanes brought their A-game to the Special Olympics bocce ball tournament! We are SO proud of all of our incredible athletes for their hard work!✨💪

We are so thankful for our friends at Lubbock Chamber of Commerce for choosing High Point Village as the nonprofit recipient of the money raised from Ribs & Raiders on Tuesday night! ❤️
On Wednesday, a few of our Villagers and Staff made an appearance at the Hub City BBQ Cook Off to cheer on all of the cook teams competing across five different categories for the ultimate bragging rights! 🔥🍖
We even got to taste-test a few entries, and let’s just say… we were VERY satisfied!
Thank you for supporting our Villagers and helping us continue creating opportunities for individuals with intellectual disabilities!
