She was born and raised in picturesque Lodi, California, and attended school at St. Mary’s College in Moraga.

During her college days, her cousin (who's also a casting whiz) helped Ali snag her first casting job on DEAL OR NO DEAL. It was there that she fell head over heels for all things casting. Talk about love at first cast!

After working on game shows, Ali turned her attention to reality and competition shows.

When she's not busy casting, Ali can be found embracing her role as a super mom.

CASTING DUO SPOTLIGHT: Caroline Johnson-Stephens!

Caroline joined the Casting Duo family in 2014, pouring her heart and soul into her role as a casting producer on various shows, from CUTTHROAT KITCHEN to ENCORE! and GENERATION GAP!

Raised as an Army brat who moved every two years across the U.S. (including two stints in Germany), Caroline finally settled in NYC. She worked in front of the camera as a professional dancer and comedic actress before relocating to Los Angeles.

On a whim, she started working in reality TV casting, cutting her teeth on some of the first reality shows ever created.

In her role as a Senior Casting Producer, Caroline's goal is to ensure that each person she interviews has a positive experience and feels respected and celebrated.
Infusing her work with her heart, humor, and 37 years of SGI Buddhist practice, she aims to bring sunshine and joy to every situation she encounters!
